Freestyle Group: Penny Candy!

I have many hobbies that keep me busy/active and above all else, out of trouble. On of these hobbies I want to share with you today is my freestyle group that goes by the name of "Penny Candy!"

Like anything else, this group had its humble foundations. Our foundations lay in the back of a choir tour bus. With hours of free time driving state to state, my good friends and I started freestyle rapping to various beats and beat boxing. For those of you who are not familiar with this phenomenon, it's just rapping off the top of your head about anything and everything as long as it's clean and rhymes...well at least every once in a while:)

The original nicknames were Nickels, Skittles (myself), and Butterfingers (my hilarious roommate). We started calling it Penny Candy and we recorded half a song on that tour about the joys of touring with Cal Baptist’s Male Chorale. Now, you have the honorary members: Gummy Bear (me), Jaw-breaker, Blow Pop, Fun Dip, Whopper, Resses Pieces, Gumballs, Pixie Stick, Peeps, MC Spree, and Rolos. Our laughs are endless and like a "hip hop hippopotamus, our rhymes are bottomless." We freestyle anywhere and whoever’s watching can also get entertained or involved!

Let me know what you think…comment☺

Jonas Brothers Purity Rings

Hey! There was way too much negative fuss about the Jonas brothers wearing purity rings this passed Video Music Awards. I hang out with my two younger brothers and we keep very high standards when it comes to Sexual purity. The fact that the Jonas Brothers, who are a very popular music group/actors on the Disney Channel, have a HUGE fan base and I think it is very commendable that they hold sexual purity on a high scale. The question remains however: Will they continue to uphold this view throughout their fame. The pressure will definitely hit hard with further success. The host of the Video Music Awards made fun of the rings saying, "A little bit of Sex never hurt anyone." I could not believe his boldness to make fun of something as upright as that. The way I look at it is, my brothers and I or the Jonas' could be just like everyone else following the worlds standards just like that, but they could never be like us. All they can do is ask for forgiveness and start over. So, who will you be? A follower, just another innocent bystander being feed the lies of the media, or a leader toward good morality?

Options:)

One persons view can quite often be the opposite view of next person. I want my blog to interactive with discussions and other bloggers’ options on topics. Furthermore, I want other bloggers to provide me with discussion questions that come to their mind. Enjoy.
